The series of paintings titled 'OPUS' represents abstract cityscapes. Inspiration is drawn from global travels, encompassing views from both land and sky, as well as interactions with diverse communities. The cityscapes form a vibrant mosaic, highlighting scenes and ambiance. Shapes emerge dreamily as the artist manipulates colours and imagination, resulting in abstract compositions. Overlapping layers of colours, some defined and others formless, seek harmony. Each canvas symbolises a journey filled with thoughts, emotions, and discoveries. As the artist progresses, there is a surrender to the subconscious. This abstract series of oil paintings aims to be a personal process, inviting viewers to interpret it relative to their own journeys.
