Vijay Raut does not want to subject himself to the regimentation of ink and canvas, Raut manifests his art on wood, uses waste substances as raw material and has designed sculptures as well. With the hope of bringing about the amalgamation of the finer arts and technology, Raut has tried his hand at graphic paintings as well. His subjects involve both traditional as well as modern themes; abstract as well as realistic depictions; and caricatures.
