She is a textile designer and has completed her studies from Polytechnic College, Delhi in 1988.
Thereafter, she designed for leading saree brands and export houses in Delhi. Presently she is working as a freelance artist from Jaipur.
Coming from an army background, she has traveled and made home in almost all parts of the country. It has inspired her to stick to her roots while her mind can wander to other places.
She believes in her art’s ability to flow into the creeks and crevices of the jar called “The Inspiration to Paint”.
On some days she puts the colors of nature on the canvas and on other days she likes to fill it with the rusticity of India. There are days when she reminisces about God and the spirituality that resides within her and the colors flow effortlessly.
She might paint in Water Colors, Oil or Acrylic Paints. It doesn’t make any difference to her. What really makes it different is how true she is to herself when she use them and that her art is able to express the vibrancy with which she sees life.
