Qurrat recalls being deeply influenced by the video "Powers of Ten" by Eames Office, which zoomed out from a person to the universe and then zoomed in to a proton within a DNA molecule. This inspired her to appreciate the significance of even the smallest elements. She aimed to reflect this perspective in her work by blending fantastical and realistic elements with nature-inspired symbolism. She focused on details and patterns to emphasise that even a tiny speck can encapsulate all of creation. Drawing inspiration from her surroundings and travels, she created montages that highlighted her encounters with nature.
