Kalastrot was the Co-Sponsor of the 2nd edition of “Kalasarjana” hosted by Rotary Club of New Bombay Seaside & co-hosted by Rotary Club of Navi Mumbai Paradise. Kalasarjana is an initiative of the two mentioned Rotary Clubs in order to celebrate affordable art in a new zone like Vashi, Navi Mumbai and create enthusiasm amongst Navi Mumbaikars. This exhibition had 130+ amazing artworks by 30+ finest Indian Contemporary artists all under one roof. Kalastrot brought around 50+ artworks by 15+ talented artists in paintings, sculptures, ceramics, photography and Lenticular Art, to make Kalasarjana a big success. Apart from being the Co-sponsor of the event, Kalastrot was also the only gallery at this voyage of creative expression. Kalastrot got a range of mediums from acrylic to charcoal to mix media to impasto-mod podge on canvas and was the only one who had artists and artworks in the medium of Photography and Lenticular Art. Kalastrot’s artists who received a lot of love and appreciation for their works were – Nikita Tater, Deepali S, Ghanshyam Gupta, Dhiren Shasmal, Dhan Prasad, Tailor Srinivas, Prakash Ghadge, Vaikhari Yawalikar and Vijay Raut. Kalastrot was the 1st to make a sale at this exhibition and sold a painting of Goddess Lakshmi by Atish Mukherjee amongst others. Kalastrot also received an order for a commission artwork of Shiv-Parvati by Rotary Club member to gift their associate. All in all, Kalasarjana became a hit because of Kalastrot!
